First of all I wish you all (and I mean everybody and everything in this whole world and this whole universe and in the infinite amount of theoretical multiverses, even those, where something like new years and christmas and stuff like time doesn't matter or exist or going backwards or floating floating upside down like a dead fish in the flow of quark particles and the likes) a merry new year and a happy christmas!
But I have also a sad event to report right after the starting point of the new year, that was right after CET 0:00.
I broke off with my dear camera I bought in New York. There was no point in our relationship after you broke your lens.
I arranged those events in a classic Greek drama structure:
ACT 1: Introduction:
Matthias, Ralf and CAMela enter stage.
Matthias: Oh how lucky we are, me and CAMela, thus we found you, my dear friend, on this pertubated night.
Ralf: I'm not lucky, my love has not yet arrived, the girl I desire!
Matthias: How miserable, can we share some of the love, CAMela and me, with you?
Ralf: My sadness is unbearable and not distinguishable. I appreciate your overture, but happiness is only a fleeting dream for me!
ACT 2: Development
Julia enters stage.
Matthias: Long time no see. I am happy to have you, celebrating the beginning of a new year with us.
Julia: I can't imagine another place to be more delightful as here.
Matthias: Let's make this moment last forever. CAMela, my dear, show us your maginficent skill and take a picture for us!
CAMela: Sure my dear, but I need some assistence! Ralf would you mind?
Ralf: I don't mind at all. To help you is like making a blind see, like making a deaf hear, like ...
CAMela interrupts: I need you to push this button.
Ralf: Sure.
CAMela takes a picture with Ralf's help.
ACT 3: Turning point
CAMela looks disgusted: What an awful scene! I thought you were in love with me! Now you are being more happy with her, than you ever was with me!
Matthias: It's not as it seems! Dear believe me!
Ralf: How can you? You weary! CAMela, I can't hold back, you are the reason I live. Being together with you is like a million dreams come true, CAMela I love you!
Ralf kisses CAMela
Julia leaves stage in shame
Matthias tries to pull back CAMela
CAMela: This scene was all set up by you, Ralf! Vanish! I don't want to see you ever again!
In a quarrel CAMela falls to the ground. Her lens is now dense! Matthias kills Ralf!
ACT 4: Retardando
CAMela: What happened to my eye?
Matthias: You can't see anything?
CAMela: Everything is so dim and blurry!
Matthias knees in a pathetic way: Oh god, why must this happen! Are you a furious? Why do we deserve this, god of infinity and electromagnetism? Is it why we bullied your son in school? He was so shiny, it was disgusting! Oh god, what will you do to us, in order to revenge?
Julia enters stage.
Julia: I know you hate me, but ...
CAMela: Don't talk any further!
Matthias: Let her speak!
Julia: Maybe if you show us your photographic skills, your light will come back!
Matthias: I will assist you!
They take a picture of Julia
ACT 5: Katastrophy
CAMela: My light didn't return!
Matthias: Maybe if you take a picture of me?
Julia: I'll give you a hand!
CAMela: I can't express my feelings. I'm so glad that you help me Julia, after I accused you in that a harsh way!
Julia: That doesn't matter anymore.
Matthias: CAMela we shared a year of happiness and sadness together. My present for you is the picture of me. It will be the last picture you will ever take, the last you will ever see. CAMela if you don't take sharp pictures anymore, you're useless. My relationship with you ends here, so take this picture and fade away, my dying princess. Julia do it!
Julia takes the last picture with CAMela and takes out the batteries.

I love the current album of Bloc Party. The latest music videos are very strange. It seems that they recently have a crush on monster-movies with a plot that leads in the end to a total destruction of the world. One would be okay, but three times the same crap is annoying. Poor Bloc Party for having no good music-video-makers :-(
The song "Talons" is fortunately an exception and I like the song very much.The video is okay to. :-)
Now I'm sitting at my parents, a bit freezing, because they forgot to turn up the heater in my room. Of course the heater is now on full power, but the circulation-system is adjusted in a way that lowers the heat in the heater at night. so there is hardly no warmth coming out. Furthermore I'm bored, because nothings going on .... No Block Party in my block; just in my audio-reception-system ...

Since last Thursday I'm orange-belted. I searched wikipedia for orange-belted and guess what? An article about the orange-belted-bumblebee popped up. The bumblebee is commonly found in the US and in Canada. And I like bumblebees the most of all beetypes. Now I think being orange-belted is not that bad at all. |

First of all, I should start out with the biggest recent news in my tiny and finey life.
I am nominated for a year in a foreign country ... that means I'm actually going to a foreign country for one year. It will start in August so I have plenty of time to arrange everything, immunizations, flightbooking, filling in forms and stuff. I am excited!
Now I could pretend being ultra suprised about my nomination, and what luck I had. I could talk about the mass of competitors I had and how I knocked them all out to get hell-is-less-hot-than -that-spot, where there was even murder once to get there. But I'm lame. I knew I would get just because I was the only candidate applying for it. And just to make a short story shorter I procceed to my other updates...
I have a new desk, since a week, but I wasn't able to set it up. There are some hindrances, such as not enough room. I have to find a new place for my wardrobe, but I'm not certain if the new place is good. I have to remove some cd-shelves to try it out and I think my room will get much darker. Nevertheless tomorrow I will do it, and I will have more desk-space and less walk-space, for gods sake!
Next topic is that yesterday there was a surprise exam at the Kung-Foo course. I was neither fit, nor prepared for that and so I sucked. But though I hope I passed that the 16€ (that I haven't payed yet) wasn't for naught. If that's the case I'm going to wear the orange sash. That' s a little bit more awesome than the yellow, which is not that awesome at all. And of course I have to buy the orange little piece of cloth extra, so that I can be proud of it. Being proud of it, leastwise cause it made me spend some money I don't have :-). I don't want to mock Chinese culture, but it disappoints a bit to frequently pay money for stuff that have an idealistic worth.
I nearly finished an anime called "Dennou Coil", meaning "Cyber Coil". It's a world where people wear holographic glasses connected to the internet, showing them virtual stuff in an real-world enviroment. The idea is somehow not new, but the ambient of it is very nice and simple. No big bangs all the time. A girl moves to a new city and her cyberpet got infected by some strange sort of computervirus. This cyberpet gets caught by a hackergirl trying to do something strange. But she fails. Those two girls end up in the same class in school and follow rumors in the net, leading them to life threatening phenomenoms of those cyberglasses, till they find out what they are really searching for. That for the first line in the oping is very fitting: Daremo ga sagashiteru, dareka wo sagashiteru (Everybody's searching, searching for something). ...how to wash up all the dishes from yesterday.
Fortunately I'm Jesus who's god aswell. So I know how to wash up all the dishes. I'm going to start that, when I feel like it.
That's what's going on, nothing's right I'm torn.
We had delicious Chilli con Carne and Onioncake and two dips, that were salmon dip and onion glutamate dip that could be combined with tortillachips or french baguette from the shop from around the corner. Refreshments were provided by the original Oktoberfest-beer and Sinalco coke and lemonade. Preety awesome ;-)

Life got me once more. I'm sitting here, shivering in expectation of my tomorrowly test, as it happens:
rule no 482: At morning I always have my afternoon tea ... (watashi wa ekusukaliba dearu) :/
A costudent wrote me a message if had a test on Tuesday aswell. Well tomorrow isn't Tuesday and after checking dates my test is actually on Tuesday. I mean, it's evening, and in the evening I always wear pyjamas. My history began in the 12th century and what can you do, when you are prepared for a test and it's evening, and you always wear pyjamas in the evening, and you aren't prepared to have a whole night to do such wonderful things. What can I do? ---
Someone random invited me over for a beer now. I'll be going, but by car, and that means no beer. Despite the fact, that I'm unable to read dates, my card-reader is broken and my computer appears to have some illnesses of it's age. Don't die my dear, you have to listen to my 5 hour readings everyday.

Right on the other hand is, that lesbian is an adjective and a noun. So my formulation was right.

There are differnet things that pop up in my mind, that I could talk about, but when I guess, when I finished one thing I forgot about the others. But I'll try.
1. This weekend there is the Cologne Pride, but I have to stay in Ulm because of a sucking weekend-seminar about typography, speech and text in A/V media. As this isn't enough, we got an email from that specialist, who is going to teach us. We have to bring along besides the video-stuff that we did a month ago, two poems we like, about love and mourning. As if I had a giant repertoire of my favourite poems in stock, ready to quote, when the right time comes. Well that would be a nice feature in my life, but it doesn't exist actually. So I'm going to use google, to provide me with famous poems, and maybe in a far future we will all get a google search engine installed in our brains, so that you can always help out with a helpful poem for every circumstance. The fabulous poem-man!
2. I watched across the universe and this film is damn long. But I like some of the reinterpretations of the ol' Beatles beat-songs. Just like this:
I think she is lesbian.
3. Yesterday I saw a film that provided me views, that I never wanted to see. If you want to hurt your imagination and your soul, then watch this film (Hundstage [2001]):
This is something like a funny scene. But on the whole this film is disturbing.

Naturally Germany is in the Finals of the European soccer Championship.
We won against Turkey tonight.
If Germany vanishes from the map, it's just because a civil war that started between German and Turkish fans here. And if Germany doesn't vanish tonight, it's because Turkish people are good losers. I think in some parallel Universe Turkey won against Germany and Germany is either in a civil war or not, because Germans are good losers.
Nevertheless of this nonsense we will have Russia as our final enemy. And at least after that Germany will drown in a civil war, probably.

Well I'm back to Ulm since a week, but today I really feel back here.
Maybe it's because I finished everything I wanted till today.
Maybe it's because my roommate came back yesterday and I'm not alone anymore.
Maybe it's because I cooked for Kati and Juli some Tacos and it was very nice.
Maybe it's because I'll catch a cold, because Juli and Kati got one.
Maybe it's because I met Stefan and Shelly, who got back from New York recently.
Maybe it's because I went with Kathrin to Pepe and played some N64.
Maybe it's because University starts on Monday.
Maybe it's because sun shines today.
But maybe it's because all of that, I love being here. I couldn't have chosen a better place to study.

Well, today I arraived back in Ulm after one month working exile in Cologne. The first thing that happens is, that my graphic board of my desktop pc gives up. Well there was one month pause, so why does this happen? Oh god, what have I done to you (except of deceiving) to receive such a punishment?
First I got a stomach disease, that lasts since last Friday. Forcing me to have stomach ache after every meal.
Then you made me get caught by a speed cam, while racing towards the "Wir sind Helden"-concert.
And now my desktop pc is broken, that I can't finish my task, for that I'll get a job as a freelancer.
may god be with me

In my last post I forgot to fullfill the headline:
1. Alexander Marcus created electrolore and he is the one that style is referred to.
2. Wir sind Helden jammed a bit, where Judith acted as if she paddled through the sea with her guitar. HeBu said they were just like the young Pink Floyd and I ment they're performing art. So the new music styles: "art-rock" and "art-core" have been created and we have to be the band that styles are referred to.
3. I talked with Stefan on the way home about the styles nu metal and emo-... and we agreed those two styles have become unpopular again. Just like new rave. I never heard about new rave and found out, that new rave is actually a music style and it doesn't sound like rave at all. Wrong is, that Bloc party is referred to that music style in wikipedia. After listening to one song of he klaxons, I must admit they sound like bloc party in some way. But following wikipedias infinite knowledge, new rave is a construct that the bands actually don't like to be referred to. |
